Putting Faith back into Education

A learning environment based on Christian values

At Our Redeemer Lutheran School, teachers work closely with each child to create a strong foundation for life. Every child is known by name, and nurtured in the lower grades and challenged as they mature. Focus is on age appropriate methods that build study skills to prepare students for upper grades. By providing a learning environment based on Christian values, we instill a different kind of greatness.

Happy New Year!

A fresh new start!  Who doesn’t need that?  And God gives us the opportunity for it every day.  Here at Our Redeemer, a new semester, new families touring for the coming year, and new challenges (everyone preparing for the Math Fair?), all abound.  If part of your new year’s resolution is to find an academically strong, spiritually nurturing school in which your child, preschooler through 6th grader, can succeed, please contact us for a personal tour:  carolb@orlcs.com

Wineries, Restaurants, and Fun: It’s the ORLS Auction on March 3rd!

Great new auction items are coming in EVERY DAY!  Thanks to all who have called or dropped by their favorite restaurants, shops and businesses and asked for their support—it worked!  It’s not too late to bring in donations!  CLICK HERE to see our list of preferred vendors:  those who have donated at least $75, and many who’ve donated much more!  Please remember their generous support when you’re deciding where to shop.

There are openings in a few of our classes from PK2 through 6th grade!

If you are interested in joining the Wildcat family, with our 50 year heritage of outstanding academics and faith-based learning, please  contact Carol Blackwood for information or to schedule an individual tour at  carolb@orlcs.com or call 214-368-1371.  Click here for more admissions information

Summer Kids’ Klub Camp

Making those plans for the summer?  Don’t forget our Summer Camp/Kids’ Klub program here at ORLS.  It’s open to current students as well as outside guests.  We offer a great way for your child entering PK3 to 2nd to enjoy a fun, safe summer of games, arts, exercise, and even some academics!  Structured for working families, the day runs from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, but parents are free to pick up earlier, of course. You may purchase the camp by the week, choosing only the time needed.  Watch for details after Spring Break.
